They say I say
After reading They say I Say there are a few things that i will be sure to keep in mind while editing my paper. One of the main points that I found very important was to no only state your own ideas, but also write about the ideas of others. I believe that this can be a key component in a good piece of writing to go more "under the surface". Another one of the tips I hadn't really thought about was using empathy in your writing, by stepping in someone elses shoes it forces you to put others opinions in the paper so that you don't "cast a shadow" over the paper. Last my definitly not least is how to incorperate quotes into your writing, without real back up info in your writing how does anyone know if your telling the truth? It's the cherry ontop of the paper, its how you back up your argument.
SELF Evaluation
Over all I think that my presentation went well. Things that I know I could have done better of was to add more visuals for a more "eye catching" presentaion. Another thing that I could have done is go more into depth on why the Foodster represented a foodie me and what "level" of foodie I think he is.

Writng and Research
My current research is all abot going through the posts of the blog Seattle Foodster. This Foodie leaves no ground left uncovered whether it be whats the "hoppin" places to go in Seattle for some yummy food or where the best grilled cheese is this blogger know his food. But the Foodster also covers some common ground with the locals with popular resturants such as the Metro Grill and Duke's Chower House. Not only does the Foodster help you find where to find the food but also to make it, it contains tons of recipes whether it be drink or food the foodies got it all. Although that is all good it has been tough to really find what the identity of the blogger really is since the focus is more on food than it is on a personal level
What blogs im peeking at;
.I have choosen to follow food blogs, specifically Seattle local foodies. I hope that i can improve not only my writing skills in this project but to also improve my skills as a researcher. My other main gold is to learn more about food, not only in eating in but also in making it. Let's be honest the way to anyones heart is through the stomach. :)
4-7 Blogging
In the book Jill Walker Rettberg explains the "new freedom to publish at will" (85) and how the everyday journalist are now able to be more "ontop" of thing in the new world of technology and are able to widen their horizons a little and write about a variety of topics. The one thing I did find very interesting is that most bloggers are not women. When you do think of people that want to express their feelings and tell the world their issues (no offence) but women usually come to mind.

Who I am as a Writer
I consider myself both a work in progress and a creator. I say both because when it comes to academic style of writing i am just not too good more on the way to be better, but when it comes to creative writing I succeed :) as a poet song writier i feel I am pretty okay!
